We had some very good results but 4 boys in particular did well enough to be awarded certificates of distinction. Additionally, for coming in the top 50 in the UK, Yuhan Gao is awarded a silver medal and a book prize. Yuhan Gao Certificate, Silver Medal and a Book prize. Matei Mandache, Ka Ming Mau and Haibo Yu Certificates.
- 9 March 2010: LGS added a new international sportsman to the school’s role of honour when Sam Russell (Year 13) represented England Independent Schools at football in a match against Australia Schools. Played at Nantwich Town’s ground in torrential rain, the match result was disappointing, a 4-0 defeat, but the occasion was memorable, and Sam is looking forward to more international honours.
