Reading Allowed 23.02.13

Ten of the deepest thinkers and hardest readers from Year 12, travelled to London at the start of the February Half Term with just one mission in mind:  to deliver an eight minute talk to the group about a book of their choosing.  The range was impressively wide from weird medicinal research to any imaginative literature you care to name – provided it was located in a country called Dystopia.  Talks happened indoors and outdoors including the British Library and London College of Art.  Trains were caught, pizza was eaten and a cinema was visited.  London was walked.  Mr McCabe and Dr Walker nodded sagely at the end of a long day and agreed that this had been one of the best reading days of modern times.  Well done to all.
