Four boys in Year 10 entered the Science Detectives Challenge, organised jointly by 3M Healthcare and Loughborough University. They spent a day at Loughborough University using a range of scientific and forensic techniques to establish why a fictitious student had crashed his car. The boys then had to present their conclusions to a panel of judges.
There were 18 schools that entered the competition and at the Presentation Evening last week, Loughborough Grammar School were declared the overall winners. Each boy was awarded a Bronze Crest Award.
Congratulations to the winning team: Tom Williams, Tom Frankland, Matthew Drury and Sam France
