Napier’s Law 07.03.12

On Monday 27 February 2012, twenty LGS boys attended a law seminar with Michael Napier, CBE, QC (Hon) LLD. Michael talked to the boys about his diverse career which has taken him from a trainee at local firm Moss Solicitors in Loughborough, to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, and then on to pioneering group litigation practice as a senior partner of Irwin Mitchell. He explained that his own desire to become a lawyer derived from an early and acute awareness of justice, injustice and advocacy for those without a voice, and encouraged the boys to consider their own motivations for becoming lawyers.
